19-year-old Lily returns to her seaside hometown Beihai, a city neighboring Vietnam. The unexpected sudden arrival of a level-eight typhoon named “Mountain Spirit” delays her departure from the village. Lily runs into her childhood classmate Howe, who is himself possessed by his own troubles. They travel into a mysterious mangrove forest. The typhoon ends, and a secret emerges…
