The Disco, a Portrait of Simon Eilbeck

An experimental nonfiction documentary portrait of queer d/Deaf DJ Simon Eilbeck, composed from 16mm film and location sound recordings. The film captures encounters with members of trans, non-binary, and alternative queer communities who gather at his monthly disco, Hot Mess, held at The Poetry Club in Glasgow, Scotland.
