Kou was born in Mon State of Myanmar. He started dreaming of making his own films since he was in middle school. After passing Upper Intermediate Japanese Language, Kou went to Toho Gakuen Film Techniques Training School in Tokyo, Japan to study general filmmaking techniques. He started directing his own film in 2020. His first short film is named "Happy Anniversary". He is passionate in Thriller and Romance genres which are very different genres. Aside from directing, Kou also works as a freelance photographer, editor, Japanese language Instructor, and Producer. Kou is currently studying at Masaryk University as a Bachelor's student in Czech Republic.
