CHAN cho kiu (b.1990, Hong Kong) received his bachelor's degree from the Academy of Visual Arts, Hong Kong Baptist University and currently lives in Japan.
Chan Cho Kiu's works are mostly based on observations of daily life and are intended to be monotonous representations of some moments. She believes that the invisible context and aesthetics of all things in the world, can be discovered and delineated through the state of daily objects, Natural human reflexes, inertia and repetition.
Chan’s works, primarily in painting and mix- media installation, has been exhibited in Hong Kong, Japan, Guangzhou, UK and Germany. Her recent exhibitions include “Short Note”, TaTa Bookstore gallery, Tokyo(2023); “Diachronic Echoes”, Hong Kong(2023); “zero parameters ; waste ethos” AME SPACE, UK(2022); ”10 Years of ASP “ Soundpocket, Hong Kong (2021); "Housewife Math” The Steak House Doskoi @ XYZ collective, Tokyo (2022); “Münster Sculpture Project in Sagamihara 2018”, Kanuma Park, Tokyo, Japan, etc.
