
Glendy Avelino is an Indonesian audio practitioner and multidisciplinary creator currently studying at the Indonesia Institute of the Arts and Culture (ISBI) Bandung. A member of the 2024 cohort, Glendy entered the institution with a robust professional background in video editing and motion graphics, which serves as the creative foundation for his specialized focus on cinematic audio.
His work is defined by the seamless integration of visual rhythm and sonic texture. By leveraging his experience in motion design and post-production, Glendy approaches sound design as a vital narrative tool, capable of elevating the emotional impact of visual media. He is particularly interested in exploring contemporary subcultures and social narratives, utilizing his technical versatility to bring unique perspectives to the screen.
Currently, Glendy is dedicated to mastering the art of sound production, aiming to bridge the gap between complex visual effects and immersive audio environments. His goal is to push the technical boundaries of Indonesian cinema through a holistic approach to audiovisual storytelling.
